Purchasing Uniform Online

Branded uniform with the school logo is optional. If you would like to purchase branded uniform, it can be done by going to the Price & Buckland store and setting up an account. Once logged in, you can purchase any of our school’s uniform and pay by either debit or credit card.

Uniform is dispatched to a home or work address within 5 working days and a postage cost is added. Alternatively, orders can be delivered to the academy free of charge which occurs twice a month.

Uniform Standards

Please note the items listed below are available from high street stores and supermarkets

  • Grey or black trousers

  • Royal blue jumper, white or pale blue polo shirt preferably with school logo

  • White / pale blue shirt / polo shirt

  • Grey or black socks

  • All black sensible footwear without colourful trim

  • Grey / black skirt / trousers or pinafore

  • Royal blue cardigan, or jumper, white or pale blue polo shirt preferably with school logo

  • White / pale blue blouse / shirt or polo shirt

  • White / grey / black socks / knee high socks / tights

  • All black sensible footwear without colourful trim

Footwear

It is expected that children attend in academy uniform, this should include one of the following items of footwear on non PE days:

  • Plain black leather or leather look shoes with a discrete, same colour, logo. Shoes must not be decorative(e.g. diamantes, coloured /reflective stripes or logos)

  • A suitable plain black trainer with a discrete, same colour, logo. Trainers must not have coloured laces or reflective stripes.

  • Black leather or leather look boots with a discrete, same colour, logo. Boots must be no higher than mid-calf and must not be decorative (e.g., diamantes, reflective stripes etc).

On PE days it is expected that pupils attend school in the correct PE uniform and in trainers suitable for PE.

Optional Summer Uniform

  • Pale blue checked dresses can be worn during Summer periods

  • Smart grey shorts may be worn during Summer periods

P.E. Kits

  • Navy/Royal blue/black shorts
  • Navy/black skort (with an attached underlayer) is also permitted.
  • Trainers – These must be appropriate to undertake physical activity in
  • Plain grey/black/navy blue tracksuit or grey/black/navy with a discrete logo
  • Examples of a discrete logo
  • Plain white t-shirt/polo shirt

  • Cycling shorts must be mid-thigh length

  • Very short shorts such as Nike Pros are not permitted.
  • Earrings and watches must be removed for PE and sporting activities
  • Bobble for all hair that is long enough to be tied back

Jewellery & Hair Standards

Jewellery

  • Watches may be worn (with the exception of Smart watches, Fitbits and Activity watches), but remain the responsibility of the child at all times
  • One pair of small ear studs may be worn, but must be removed for swimming lessons and PE lessons
    (Adults in school are not permitted to remove earrings before swimming, therefore the child must be able to remove and look after his/her own jewellery)

  • Rings, necklaces, or bracelets should not be worn to school

  • No other jewellery should be worn, unless it has religious significance and has been agreed by Principal

  • Nail varnish and false nails are not permitted.

Hair

  • Hair should be of natural colour. Reasonable adjustments can be discussed with the Principal e.g. medical reasons.
  • Hair accessories (bobbles, clips and bands) should be plain, discrete and in school colours (grey, white, navy blue, royal blue)
  • Hairstyles should not reflect the extremes of ‘youth culture’, for example shaved lines and patterns on the side of the head; patterns must not be cut into the hair.
  • Large bows are not permitted

Makeup is unnecessary and should not be worn unless a reasonable adjustment has been authorised by the Principal.

Pupils are allowed to return to school with Henna after Eid but it cannot be added to and must be allowed to fade naturally.

The academy is proud to offer pre-loved uniform throughout the year. MNA work very closely with the Church of the Nazarene to support in providing families with uniform as and when required. Please contact school reception for support on this matter.
